Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love should be universal. This year Franks has decided to dedicate its Valentine’s day campaign to celebrate the love of pets and is taking this opportunity to raise funds for the Association for Abandoned Animals.
Throughout this week up until Valentine’s day all Franks outlets will be collecting donations for the association, and everyone who donates will get to stick a heart up on a paw board.
The Association for Abandoned Animals care for approximately 80 dogs, all abandoned and most from them from the streets. All their dogs are up for adoption. They are very busy with the general work required in the sanctuary, like cleaning, laying out of new bedding, taking the dogs to the vet and giving them medication. They also do rescues of new ones from the streets and when they have some extra time they give the dogs some much needed care and affection. The more donations, the happier these poor abandoned puppies will be, so let’s fill that board with hearts.
But wait… there’s more!
On Saturday 11th February you could get an adorable sketch of you and your pet. All you need to do is bring your beloved pet to Franks at The Point shopping complex between 10am and 3pm and strike a pose! The sketch is on us but we will be collecting donations for the Association for Abandoned Animals.
